Gary initiatives to take a bite out of Crime

We need to focus on who the enemy is trying to destroy in our communities.  Listen, the enemy’s focus is on our young males between 10 to 29 years old.   

Crime should not be glamorized to our youth.  Crime or even a life of crime should not be an option or a choice.

Our black kids are in trouble.  They are hurting.  There is no way in this world our children should be thieves, murderers, rapists and/or have any criminal intent WHATSOEVER!  There is no way in this world our communities should continually be riddled with crime.  There is no way in this world our children should be disrespectful against adults or their parents, or any other human being for that matter, not to mention in their own communities. 

Our children are mentally breaking down with no moral compass, and we cannot continue to just shake our heads and keep walking.  We have to examine the psychosocial approach in relation to our children.   

We have to examine the combined influence that psychological factors and the surrounding social environment have on their physical and mental wellness and their ability to function. We have to use a broad range of helping professions in health and social care settings.  We have to save our children. 

Can we meet and talk about initiating ways to save our children?  How can we provide DACA for one race of children, while our own children are falling by the wayside?  Come on black folks!  Our men and children are in trouble.  It is time for a revolution to save our children.  Why are our children losing hope, and other children have a land of opportunity?

We have to change our own narratives.  We cannot continue to look for people to save us.  We need to start saving ourselves.    Ask yourself, what can you do to help?
